Academic and Research Collaboration between IIM Rohtak and Singapore Management University (SMU)

It’s a historic moment on April 5, 2013, when IIM Rohtak and Singapore Management University came together in a long term relationship. Professor P Rameshan, Former Director IIM Rohtak and SMU’s Deputy President and Provost Professor Rajendra K Srivastava, signed the agreement on that landmark occasion in the presence of SMU’s President, Professor Arnoud De Meyer.

SMU and IIM Rohtak will work together in achieving the academic and organizational goals of the two institutions. In this regard, they will promote academic exchange and co-operation in such areas as an exchange of faculty members, joint conferences, faculty research workshops and symposiums, as well as the exchange of students.

They will also encourage cultural exchanges between their two institutions. Equally importantly, SMU and IIM Rohtak will identify and align existing centres or departments or other arms at each institutions which share common interests or areas of excellence so as to help advance Indo-Singapore academics and business under the collaborative umbrella contemplated in the agreement.

Academic and Research Collaboration between IIM Rohtak and California State University, Fullerton, USA

The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak and the California State University at Fullerton signed an agreement in March 2013 to cooperate and work together in achieving the academic and organizational goals of the two institutions.

In pursuit of these goals, IIM Rohtak and the California State University will promote academic exchange and cooperation between the two parties and facilitate exchange of faculty members, faculty research workshops conferences, joint research/project guidance and exchange of students.

They will offer specially designed programs of study, plan joint summer projects that involve academic programmes of practical value to postgraduate students, encourage cultural exchanges and set-up two sister Centres of Excellence (one at each institution) in due course of time. The Centres will help advance Indo-US academics and businesses.

They will also pursue other mutually advantageous undertakings.

Indiana University, USA and IIM, Rohtak

It’s a historic moment on August 31, 2011 when IIM Rohtak and Kelley School of Business. Indiana University, USA came together in a long term relationship. Former Director, IIM, Rohtak and President. Indiana University. Mr. Michael McRohhie had signed the agreement in that landmark occasion. The other dignitaries were present, alumnus of Kelley School of Business & MP, Rohtak Mr. Deepender S Hooda, Dean, Kelley School of Business the delegation from Indiana University.

This collaboration between IIM Rohtak and Kelley School of Business, the Indiana

University, USA will be strengthening the cause of quality management education not only in India, but across the globe in times to come.

Between the two collaborating institutions, the possibilities include joint research work, joint delivery of courses, academic exchanges at faculty and student levels, joint supervision of doctoral work, and joint conduct of conferences and workshop.

However, the biggest opportunity would be in offering joint academic programs for both working executives and fresh aspirants, based on priority, over a period of time. The need for such programmers is expected to get stronger over the years.
